Lithium Finance: Wisdom Node Highlight
The journey to 1,000+ Wisdom Nodes has been exciting, and the Lithium business team has had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with lots of high-profile executives, business owners, creatives, and subject matter experts across multiple fields.
As you know, the Lithium Finance data oracle will leverage collective intelligence to price and value illiquid assets like pre-IPO stocks, gaming, NFT’s, secondary tokens, and more.
- On one side of the marketplace, we have Wisdom Seekers (individuals and entities that need pricing information) like Injective Protocol, Clearpool, Credfi, and a lot of our extensive partner network.
- We also have Wisdom Nodes (individuals/entities with knowledge of illiquid assets) like Pantera Capital and Hashed. These individuals/entities have specialized knowledge in the digital and traditional asset space and have joined the Lithium ecosystem to share their knowledge in exchange for $LITH tokens.
Today, we are pleased to share some insights on one of our many Wisdom Nodes (for privacy reasons, we will not publish his name).
Question: How did you hear about Lithium Finance?
Answer: I heard about Lithium through a close friend of mine. I was at an event, and he told me to check out the project; I did later in the day and was pretty excited about the possibilities Lithium’s data oracle could unlock.
Question: Glad you find our project exciting! What is your professional background?
Answer: I was formerly a derivatives trader on Wall Street and then the Global Head of Financial Products at a major crypto exchange. Currently, I consider myself a “DeFi Builder,” the crypto world has unlocked endless possibilities, and I am glad to be a part of this exciting journey.
Question: When did you get into the crypto space?
Answer: I started mining crypto in 2015 and joined a major exchange around 2019. Since then, I have been contributing to the development of DeFi across various communities.
Question: What made you decide to become a Wisdom Node?
Answer: This project has a real utility need, and I appreciate the methods provided for subject experts like myself to contribute our knowledge as Wisdom Nodes. It also fits the borderless and open nature of DeFi while solving a critical asset pricing problem in today’s world. I look forward to interacting with the public beta in the coming weeks.
